Compatibility

If you are planning a bulk purchase of devices our recommendation is to buy one device and try out the user experience for yourself before placing a large order.

Some screens require a larger screen layout so will only work on iPads, for example the Assessment Books.

OPERATING SYSTEM AND VERSION REQUIREMENTS
- iOS 11 or later

MINIMUM SYSTEM AND VERSION REQUIREMENTS

Processor, RAM, screen resolution, storage, battery life and the general age of a device will affect the overall user experience.  Generally speaking, the better the processor and more RAM you can get will give you a better user experience over time. 

As usual, please always check for updates.

If you plan to update the iOS version for multiple devices then we would recommend updating on one device first to check that the resources on the device post update are adequate to smoothly operate Evidence for Learning.

For iOS, most of our testing is carried out on iPad Mini 4 Wifi
Used devices
If purchasing used iOS devices please note some old devices can only support iOS 9.3.6 so you wont be given an opportunity to upgrade the iOS further.


Firewall Settings

Can you ask the team that manage the firewall/proxy to disable/clear caching and allow traffic for ports 80 and 443 for the following domains.
