Create a PDF that contains the Learner's Evidence and choose whether to include Indicator Spider Charts and / or Indicator Table Data

You can use the Web Console to create a PDF that contain a Leaner's Evidence and include the Indicator Spider Charts and / or the Indicator Table Data.

Step 1: Create a PDF template and choose to include the Indicator Spider Charts and / or the Indicator Table Data.

Step 2: Use the PDF temple to create a PDF


Step 1
    Create a PDF template that contains the Learner's Evidence and choose whether to include the Indicator Spider Charts and / or the Indicator Table Data
1.    Login to the Web Console  (  https://web.evidenceforlearning.net/efl/login/). 
2.    Click Documents (top left)

3.    Click Make PDF (towards top right).

4.    Click My PDF Templates (towards top right)

5.    Click  Create PDF Templates (towards top right)

6.    Choose the Properties of PDF Template.
Example:
  • PDF per Learner
  • Template Name: "Learning Journal (Main) with Indicator Chart & Table
  • PDF Title: "Learning Journey"
  • Font: System
  • Font Size: Medium
  • Page Size: A4

7.    Scroll down and select the Contents, Displaying Evidence and whether you want the PDF Template to be available just to you or for all users.

Example:

  • Include a title page
  • A new page per piece of Evidence
  • Include Indicator Table Data
  • Indicator Spider Charts
To include Indicator Table Data ensure the switch is on (green and to the right)

To include Indicator Spider Charts ensure the switch is on (green and to the right)

7.    Scroll down and Click Save (bottom left) to save the PDF Template.

The PDF Template has now been created and is ready to use.


Step 2
    Use a PDF template to create a PDF that contains a Learner's Evidence
1.    Login to the Web Console  (  https://web.evidenceforlearning.net/efl/login/). 
2.    Click Documents (top left)

3.    Click Make PDF (towards top right).

See below...

4.    Select a PDF template from the drop-down list. 

Then select the criteria for the evidence to include in your PDF. 

You can arrange the resulting evidence either in date order (ascending or descending) or group it under specific tags.

When you have made your selections Click Next (towards top right)

5.    The Evidence that meets your filter criteria will then be displayed. If you don't want to include a specific piece of Evidence in the PDF, Tap on it so that it becomes grey.
To create the PDF Click  Make PDF (top right)

6.    The PDF will then be in the process of being created and a "Please Wait" message will be displayed.

7.    Once the PDF has been created the PDF it will be displayed at the bottom of the screen. 

You can click on the name of the PDF to open it.

8.    Once the PDF opens you will be able to review it.
