The Parent Engagement & Empowerment Area of the App (see feedback and evidence submitted from parents/carers)

Here are the Steps to access the Parent Engagement & Empowerment Area of the App:

1.    From the main screen of the App with the "Capture" button and the animated stars, Tap on the Parent Engagement & Empowerment Icon (bottom left, looks like an adult and a child with their arms in the air).

2.     If you want to add particular Learners onto your device so that you can see the feedback/comments/evidence uploaded from their parents then see the relevant guide within EfL Resources: Add Groups of Learners to my device or Add individual Learners to my device

You will then be shown all the feedback/comments/evidence uploaded from parents/carers of learners who on the device.

3.    To see the evidence submitted from home in more detail, simply Tap on it.

4.    If the evidence contained a video you would now be able to view it. You can also see the full comment submitted by parents/carers as part of the evidence.

Please note you can edit the Evidence (by tapping the green button to orange). You can add a comment to the evidence and/or choose to link the evidence submitted from home to particular outcomes within Frameworks or to Add Tags or Indicators.

To Save the Changes you have made to the Evidence, turn the orange button so that it is green and Tap Save (top right).

2.    Tap on the ? Icon (top right)

    3.    You will then be able to see an explanation on the Filter options as well as how to select comments to be included in PDF documents.

Here are the steps to change the view within the Parent Engagement & Empowerment Area of the App from chronological order to groups submissions by Learner:  

1.    From the main screen of the App with the word "Capture" and the animated stars, Tap on the Parent Engagement & Empowerment Icon (bottom left, looks like an adult and a child with their arms in the air).

2.    To Group submissions by Learner, Tap on Stacked (towards the top left)

Here are the steps to reply to parents/carers (if the conversation mode is enabled within parent services):  

1.    From the main screen of the App with the word "Capture" and the animated stars, Tap on the Parent Engagement & Empowerment Icon (bottom left, looks like an adult and a child with their arms in the air).

2.   To reply to parents/carers feedback or to the Evidence that they have submitted, Tap Reply to the right of the feedback/evidence.

3.   Type in your Reply and then Tap Save (top right).

4.   Your reply will now be available for the parents/carers to view within their secure Parent Accounts.
