Connect specific Learners and Groups on your MIS system to Evidence for Learning
This guide is aimed at schools that have added the MIS Integration Plug to their subscription.

Steps to set up MIS Integration
Setting up the MIS Integration is easy.
There are 5 main steps to set up a connection between your MIS System and Evidence for Learning.
- Step 1: Activate the connection
- Step 2: Control which of your Learners you wish to connect
- Step 3: Control which of your Groups you wish to connect
- Step 4: Connect Learners
- Step 5: Connect Groups

Detailed Guide
Step 1: Activate the connection
1. On a computer, login to the Web Console.
2. Hover over Admin (top right) and click Access Admin Console / Area.

3) Click on MIS Integration from the top menu.

3) To Activate the connection for your Evidence for Learning platform with you MIS via Wonde you need to request a connection.
To start the process Click Start Wonde.com Connection

4) Search for your school by typing in the search box and click on it once located

Note: If you have any trouble locating your school, please contact us at services@theteachercloud.net
5) So that Wonde can authenticate you and approve the connection, please fill in the Contact Form and Click Continue.

6. Once you have completed the Contact Form and Clicked Continue, you will see that the Connection is Pending.

7. Wonde should approve your connection within 1-3 working days from you completing the Contact Form. Wonde may need to contact you as part of the process.
Tip: If after 3 working days the Connection has not been approved and Wonde has not been in touch with you, then please contact Wonde
Once you have been authenticated and the connection will change to Approved.

Step 2: Control which of your Learners you wish to connect
Once the the connection has been approved by Wonde, you can then control which of your MIS Learners you wish to connect to Evidence for Learning.
1. On a computer, login to the Web Console.
2. Hover over Admin (top right) and click Access Admin Console / Area.

3) Click on MIS Integration from the top menu.

3) Within Data Control, Click MIS Learners

4) The MIS Learners screen allows you to control which of your MIS Learners you wish to allow to be connected to Evidence for Learning.
A Learner's Status is displayed to the right.
By Default, Learners that are waiting for a decision will have a "New" Status and they will not appear in the list when you later try to connect to a new or an existing EfL Learner.

5) Select individual Learners or all the Learners that are displayed on the page and click "Allow" or "Block".
Allowed MIS Learners will appear in the list when you later try to connect to an a new or existing EfL Learner.
Blocked / New MIS Learners will not appear in the list when you later try to connect to an a new or existing EfL Learner.

6) The updated Status will be displayed.

7) Remember to work through all your pages of MIS Learners.
Changes Page at the bottom right of the screen.

Once you have worked through all the pages of your MIS Learners and set the appropriate Status for each Learner, Click on MIS Integration from the top menu.
Step 3: Control which of your Groups you wish to connect
Once the the connection has been approved by Wonde, you can then control which of your MIS Groups you wish to connect to Evidence for Learning.
1) On a computer login to the Admin Console (https://console.
2) Click on MIS Integration from the top menu.

3) Within Data Control, Click MIS Groups.

4) The MIS Groups screen allows you to control which of your MIS Groups you wish to allow to be connected to Evidence for Learning.
A Group Status is displayed to the right.
By Default Groups that are waiting for a decision will have a "New" Status and they will not appear in the list when you later try to connect to a new or an existing EfL Group.

5) Select individual Groups by ticking the box to the left or all the Groups that are displayed on the page and click "Allow" or "Block".
You can change the type of Group or Search for a specific Group on the right hand side.
Allowed MIS Groups will appear in the list when you later try to connect to an a new or existing EfL Group.
Blocked / New MIS Groups will not appear in the list when you later try to connect to an a new or existing EfL Group.

6) The updated Status will be displayed.

7) Remember to work through all your pages of MIS Learners.

Once you have worked through all the pages of your MIS Group and set the appropriate Status for each Group, Click on MIS Integration from the top menu.
Step 4: Connect Learners
Step 1: On a computer login to the Admin Console ( https://console.
Step 2: Click on MIS Integration from the top menu.

Step 3: Within Data Connections, Click Connect Learners

Step 4: The MIS Learners screen shows which of your 'allowed' MIS Learners have been connected and which have not been.
You can Connect and Disconnect your Learners at any time.
Once you connect a MIS Learners to an EfL Learner the EfL Learners will be updated immediately and then kept in sync over night whilst the Auto -Sync is running .
To Connect an MIS Learner to an existing EfL Learner = Step 5
If the existing EfL Learner already has their first name, last name and date of birth entered within your Evidence for Learning Records then you can use the Auto-Connect Feature. [Go to Step 5]
If a Learner does not have a last name and / or a date or birth entered onto Evidence for Learning, you will need to add these before you can use Auto-connect. This is to minimise the risk that a school can connect an existing learner in Evidence for Learning to the wrong Leaner in their MIS.
To manually add / edit a last name and or Date of birth:
- Login to the Admin Console / Area
- You can sort Learners to those without a Date or Birth by clicking on the "Up & Down Arrows" at the top of the date of birth column. All those Learners with no date or birth entered will appear at the top of the list
- Tick to select individual Leaners all tick all Learners on that page and Click Edit (towards top left)
- You are now on a live screen where you can enter in the date of birth for the selected learners
- There is no need to click Save on this screen, it automatically saves the changes as you make them.
- Click Back (bottom left)
- Repeat the process until all the Active Learners have a first name, last name and date of birth
To Create a new EfL Learner and at the same time connect it to an MIS Learner = Step 6
This is to be used when there is not already an EfL Learner record in your Cloud and you want to create a new EfL Learner and at the same time connect it to an MIS Learner. [Go to Step 6]
Step 5: Use the Auto-Connect Feature to connect MIS Learners to existing EfL Learners:
5a) Select Learners or select all the Learners displayed on a page at once and then Click Auto Connect

5b) A list of the MIS Learners that you are able to use the Auto Connect feature to connect to existing EfL Learners will be displayed.
Take care to check that you to want to connect each MIS Learners to the corresponding EfL Learner that is displayed.
You can scroll down to see all the Learners that will be connected.
To Connect the MIS Learners to the corresponding EfL Learner Click Connect (bottom right).
Note: It may take a while so please just wait for the screen to update once you click connect.

5c) A tick in the Status Column will indicate that a Learner is the MIS Learner is connected to an EfL Learners.

5d) Remember to work through all your pages of MIS Learners.

Once you have worked through all the pages of your MIS Learners and connected the ones that you want to, Click on MIS Integration from the top menu.
Step 6: Create a new EfL Learner and at the same time connect it to an MIS Learner:

6b) A message confirming that the MIS Learner(s) records have been created within EfL will be displayed and click OK.

6c) A tick in the Status Column will indicate that a Learner is the MIS Learner is connected to an EfL Learners.

6d) Remember to work through all your pages of MIS Learners.
Changes Page at the bottom right of the screen.

Once you have worked through all the pages of your MIS Learners and connected the ones that you want to, Click on MIS Integration from the top menu.
Step 5: Connect Groups
Step 1: On a computer login to the Admin Console ( https://console.
Step 2: Click on MIS Integration from the top menu.

Step 3: Within Data Connections, Click Connect Groups.

Step 4: The MIS Groups screen shows which of your 'allowed' MIS Groups have been connected and which have not been.

To Connect an MIS Group to an existing EfL Group. [Step 5 / Step 6]
If the existing EfL Group already has exactly the same name as the MIS Group then you can use the Auto-Connect Feature. [Go to Step 5]
If the existing EfL Group has a different name to the MIS Group then you will not be able to use the Auto Connect Feature and you can connect Groups individually. [Go to Step 6]
To Create a new EfL Group and at the same time connect it to an MIS Group [Go to Step 7]
This is to be used when there is not already an EfL Group in your Cloud and you want to create a new EfL Group and at the same time connect it to an MIS Group. [Go to Step 7]
Step 5: Use the Auto-Connect Feature to connect MIS Groups to existing EfL Groups:
5a) Select Groups or select all the Groups displayed on a page at once and then Click Auto Connect

5b) A list of the MIS Groups that you are able to use the Auto Connect feature to connect to existing EfL Groups will be displayed.
Take care to check that you to want to connect each MIS Group to the corresponding EfL Group.
You can scroll down to see all the Groups that will be connected.
To Connect the MIS Groups to the corresponding EfL Group Click Connect (bottom right).
Note: It may take a while so please just wait for the screen to update once you click connect.

5c) A tick in the Status Column will indicate that an MIS Group is connected to an EfL Group.

5d) If you have more than 1 page of MIS Groups, remember to work your way through all the pages.
Changes Page at the bottom right of the screen.
Once you have worked through all the pages of your MIS Groups and connected the ones that you want to, Click on MIS Integration from the top menu.
Step 6: Connect an MIS Group to an existing EfL Group without using the Auto-Connect feature:
6a) Locate an MIS Group that you want to connect. You can use the Search box to the right to help locate a specific Group.
Once you have located an MIS Group that you want to connect to an existing EfL Group, Click Connect (right).

6b) A list of EfL Groups will then be displayed.
Tick the box to the left of the EfL Group that you want to connect the MIS Group to and then Click Connect (top right).

6c) To confirm that you want to connect the existing EfL Group with the MIS Group click Connect.

6e) A confirmation message confirming that the Group has been successfully Synced will be displayed and you can click OK.

Step 7: Create a new EfL Group and at the same time connect it to an MIS Group:

7b) A message confirming that the MIS Groups(s) records has been created within EfL will be displayed and click OK.

7c) A tick in the Status Column will indicate that an MIS Group is connected to an EfL Group.

7d) If you have more than 1 page of MIS Groups, remember to work your way through all the pages.
Changes Page at the bottom right of the screen.
Once you have worked through all the pages of your MIS Groups and connected the ones that you want to, Click on MIS Integration from the top menu.
