How do EfL Family Users reset their own password?
Family Users can reset their own password by opening the EfL Family App on their phone / tablet and when they are on the login screen they can Tap "Forgotten Password?". Thy will then be asked to enter in the school's domain and their username.
They can contact the school directly if they do not know the school's domain or their username.
Once they enter in this information they will receive an email that contains a link to set their own password. For security the link will expire after 1 hour but they can always start the process again if needed.
Alternatively, a school can send an EfL Family User an email that contains a new Password:
- Login to the Web Console
- Hover over Admin (top right) and click User Manager
- Click Family Users
- Tick the box to the left of the EfL Family User
- Click Reset Password (towards the top left)
- Confirm that you want to send the EfL Family User an email that contains a new password.
