Using the MIS Integration to create a new EfL User (staff)

Members of staff who appear in your MIS (SIMs, Arbor, iSAMS) are available to add to Evidence for Learning as EfL Users...

Create a member of staff as an EfL User:

- Login to the Web Console
- Click Access the Admin Console / Area (top right)
- Click MIS Integration (top menu)
- Click MIS Staff
Members of Staff from your MIS will be displayed
Some of these may already have EfL User Accounts
- For the members of staff that don't have an EfL User account Click to the Left of their name and Click Allow
- Click MIS Integration (top menu)
- Within Data Connections Click Connect Staff
- Tick to the left of a member of Staff and Click Create EfL User
- Select what you would like to use as their username and Click Create
Repeat the process

Set Permissions and Reset their Password:

- Once you have created new EfL Users, hover over Miscellaneous and Click User Manager
- Tick to the left of the Users and Click Apply Permissions and set as appropriate
- Once you have set their permissions, Click to the left of their EfL Username and Click Reset Password
The new EfL User will then be sent an email containing a temporary password.
