Step 2b (MIS Integration): Add new Learners and rollover classes

This guide is specifically for schools that have purchased the MIS Integration Plug-in and therefore, your Learners in Evidence for Learning is linked to your MIS (SIMS, Arbor, Bromcom, Integris etc) 

If you have are a school who have not yet added the MIS Integration Plug-in then here is a link for further information including how to request a quote to add it to your subscription - Overview and obtain a quote to add the MIS Integration.

It is likely that you will make changes to your Class Groups in your MIS (SIMS, Arbor, Bromcom, Integris etc).  Once you make changes to the class groups in your MIS, then the next day (following the overnight sync) the connected Groups in Evidence for Learning will update. If you have any Widgets that are linked to these Groups then they will also update the next time that you generate the data.

If you are happy for Widgets to update when you change your Groups and regenerate the data then you can watch the recording - Step 2b (MIS Integration): Add new Learners and rollover classes - ***For schools with the MIS Integration & are non-Insights Users or Insights Users that are happy for widgets to update when Groups are changed***

Alternatively, if you want to be able to make changes to Groups and when you regenerate the Data you want the the widgets that you have set up to not change, then you will need to break the Group connections and rename your existing Groups. You will then create new Groups for the new academic year and connect these new Groups to your MIS.
